LATEST:  (3/6/2026) SAD TO SAY, BUT WE HAVE NOW FINISHED OUR PICK YOUR OWN SESSIONS FOR THE 2026 PERSIMMON SEASON.

We will still have persimmons for sale from the shed until around 10-12th June, we expect.  But hurry, once sold there will be no more as we are picking the remainder of the crop in the next day or two.  We are no longer open on Sundays or Public Holidays - only Saturday morning for a few weeks (9am -12:30pm).

Our next Fruit-picking season will start early November for our Nectarines.  Bookings are always required for PYO, so check back here on our link below to make a bookings when we start our summer season.

Persimmons available till maybe mid-June or so.
This season's Pink Lady & Fuji apples are also currently available from the shed @ $4.50/kg  We will have these in the months ahead. 
ALSO our various Apple Juice varieties,  pure LOCAL honey & Cedar Creek Cider  (Both alcoholic & Non-alcoholic) , Jams & Pickles, Sauces, Apple Cider Vinegar & a couple of other items.

Our shed is open to buy fruit, however the farm is not open for people to wander around to 'have a look'.

Nestled in the hills just out of the country town of Picton, (about 80 mins out of Sydney CBD) is the family owned and run “Cedar Creek Orchard” which is now in it’s 4th generation of production.  The Silm family began planting apple trees here in the 1940’s and today, the orchard has expanded into a variety of fruits – a total of around 23,000 trees –  including apples, peaches, nectarines and persimmons, the produce of which is sold through both the domestic and export markets when in season.  
We are especially proud, also, of our “Cedar Creek Black Label Apple Juice” which is a pure, 100% juice, and it is crushed and bottled here at our orchard throughout the year.  Our youngest son, Nathan, started making "Cedar Creek Apple Cider' in 2018 & it is now available for sale from our Shed.
During the season we sell our fruit (1st and 2nd grade), juice, local honey, and our  Apple Cider, directly from the orchard, to the public.  We are located  at 269 Mulhollands Road Thirlmere (off Barkers Lodge Rd, Picton) Please see our  about us page  for open times, which fluctuate, depending on the season.
