FRESH GALA APPLES NOW IN SEASON! We have now finished our Pick Your Own sessions for the Gala apples. We are not sure if we will be offering any Pink Lady picking sessions in March, but keep an eye on our Facebook page or this website. PLEASE NOTE, THE SHED IS NOW ONLY OPEN ON WEEK-DAYS (9am-4pm) & SATURDAYS 9am-12.30pm (until further notice) for fruit sales & all the other goodies we sell. CLOSED SUNDAYS, UNTIL APRIL. NOTE that we are no longer taking our produce to weekend markets. SHED SALES - STONEFRUIT HAS FINISHED NOW NEW SEASON GALA apples ($4/kg) are currently available from the shed. ALSO our various Apple Juice varieties, pure LOCAL honey, various Hunter Valley & south coast cheeses, local jams & chutneys & CEDAR CREEK APPLE CIDER (Both alcoholic & Non-alcoholic) THE ORCHARD is NOT OPEN for people to wander around and 'have a look', but our shed shop is open for sales Mon-Fri. Nestled in the hills just out of the country town of Picton, (about 80 mins out of Sydney CBD) is the family owned and run “Cedar Creek Orchard” which is now in it’s 4th generation of production. The Silm family began planting apple trees here in the 1940’s and today, the orchard has expanded into a variety of fruits – a total of around 23,000 trees – including apples, peaches, nectarines and persimmons, the produce of which is sold through both the domestic and export markets when in season.
We are especially proud, also, of our “Cedar Creek Black Label Apple Juice” which is a pure, 100% juice, and it is crushed and bottled here at our orchard throughout the year. Our youngest son, Nathan, started making "Cedar Creek Apple Cider' in 2018 & it is now available for sale from our Shed.
During the season we sell our fruit (1st and 2nd grade), juice, local honey, and our Apple Cider, directly from the orchard, to the public. We are located at 269 Mulhollands Road Thirlmere (off Barkers Lodge Rd, Picton) Please see our about us page for open times, which fluctuate, depending on the season.
